2013 Level 1 Seminar -
Introducing Sport Taekwondo

The 2013 Level 1 Seminar - Introducing Sport Taekwondo, is part of the standard curriculum of the USA Taekwondo Coach Identification and Development Program (CIDP). 

The seminar consists of approximately 7 hours of educational material incorporating theory and competency-based instruction. Coaches will be introduced to standardized concepts that include organizing training sessions, technique development, and scouting.

CIDP Requirements for coaching at the 2013 USAT National Championships: 
For USAT members who wish to acquire a coach credential for the 2013 USAT National Championships, they must have already taken or be registered to take the 2013 Coaches' Edge Seminar. 

In order for members to coach athletes competing in the Cadet (12-14), Junior (15-17) or Senior (18+) year old World Class Black Belt divisions at the USAT National Championships, they will be required to have Level 1 certification. In order to coach all other divisions, USAT members are only required to have Associate Coach certification. 

USAT members must be certified as an Associate Coach in order to take the Level 1 Seminar.
